... when longtime friends and collaborators Conor Larkin, Ethan O'Brien, Andy Wade, and Dominic Bierenga got together to jam on some new material Dom had been sketching out. The propulsive sound was too much for the cramped, marching-percussion-filled room and they soon found themselves miles in the air, digging our planetary home from heliospheric space. They knew they had something too good to keep to themselves, so instead of pandering to billionaires for venture capital money, they decided to take to the streets to give the PEOPLE a billion-foot view of Earth.

The music of Moonship is radical, deep-rooted and verdantly fresh, groovy and kinetic. With each member bringing their broad and varied musical experience to the table, they draw on a vast collection of influences, including Donny Hathaway, Earth Wind & Fire, Hiatus Kaiyote, and Sun Ra. They invite everyone on board with them to cast off the shackles of mundane terrestrial existence, and rise higher to try to get the full picture together.
